No need to set foot on a sailboat, no need for the ocean: since 1830 the iconic sailboats in the Luxembourg Gardens have charmed people from all ages and nationalities.
“Les Voiliers du Luxembourg”, located in the center of Paris, has been attracting people from all over the world for almost 200 years and this is not surprising at all, some things just never get old.
Playing in Luco is a timeless experience with colourful handcrafted boats; 37 sailboats in total and they are tailored one by one by Parisian artisans every year, during the winter off-season.
“Les Voiliers” is open every afternoon from Wednesday to Sunday, and everyday during holidays. The rental is 6€ per 30 minutes.
This historical setting is the place where our grandparents’ childhood stories come to life, it is an opportunity for kids to step back to simplicity - the most fascinating way of playing.
